I created a series of illustrations for the Microsoft Design Blog, featured in articles on sustainable product design practices: Leave No Trace, Leave No Trace Part II.
The Green Design Principles are divided into two categories: Think Bigger Before You Start and Build Better By Default. I illustrated the themes within each category using characters. Organic, tree-like shape to signal complexity and more solid, pebble forms that combine to create new structures.
